Stewardship is an interesting concept and an important responsibility. It is one of the first commandments and revelations that were given to mankind on earth. God said in that day, to Adam and Eve while they were yet in the garden, to “[b]e fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Gen. 1:28)
The point of my blog and sharing my journey is to give my witness of the Father and His Son Jesus Christ and of the truthfulness of the His gospel and His doctrine. My desire is to help others come unto Him, to seek out the covenant seed of Abraham, the remnant of Joseph of who I am, in whom these things rightfully belong, and to whom are my ancestors, who are the blood of my blood, that we may gather together wherever we are at in His name, as many as will come even the Gentile that they may be His seed too, that we may gather unto the Lord, that we all may be a covenant people together.
50 And again we bear record—for we saw and heard, and this is the testimony of the gospel of Christ concerning them who shall come forth in the resurrection of the just—
51 They are they who received the testimony of Jesus, and believed on his name and were baptized after the manner of his burial, being buried in the water in his name, and this according to the commandment which he has given—
Surviving the last days by living on borrowed light said no prophet ever
The whole conundrum behind the simple phrase of “follow the prophet, don’t go astray,” logically does not make sense, at least in the form it is taught and largely understood today.
Christ needs to be our focus and our ideal; we need to know Him better than we do. We need to be humble and realize Gods ways are not ours and as we remain a stranger to God, His ways will always be confusing and even at times contrary to our moral compasses and appear odd to us. Yet as we seek God, we begin to see as He sees and we begin to see the wisdom in His ways that we beforehand could not comprehend. We ought to receive the light He has offered to us, let His light take root in you and let it grow. Though most, out of fear, instead of embracing truth find reason to fight against it, when we fight against His will for us, for our own will and what we are willing to understand, accept and do, when we do this it places us at odds with God and if we continue down this path it places us at opposition to God and opposing Gods will, and then finally we find ourselves rejecting and fighting against God. Not the side of eternity I or you should want to be on.
To Have The Spirit of Prophecy is to have THE testimony of Jesus.
Building off of my previous post, about THE testimony of Jesus, leads perfectly into my next topic, The Spirit of Prophecy. If you haven’t read the previous post, I would suggest stopping here, going back and familiarize yourself with the content of that post.
