Stewardship is an interesting concept and an important responsibility. It is one of the first commandments and revelations that were given to mankind on earth. God said in that day, to Adam and Eve while they were yet in the garden, to “[b]e fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Gen. 1:28)
Oneness
Oneness does not mean singleness, but rather it implies two or more. The Lord said that “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30). Hence at least two, plural and not singleness of person’s or in this case a single God, but Gods plural who share a oneness, one purpose.
One Family
There is only but one family. This thought has played upon my mind again and again.
We believe that family is essential and important to God but do we really know it? The family is so very sacred that He has ordained both men and women in marriage, to share in this together with Him the creation of the family. We yet grasp the full view of what this really means to be a family, let alone His family or the sacrifice involved. It started with Adam, and then it was made possible because of Eve (Gen. 1:28). We have been co-opted by God in the council of Gods into this His great plan (Abr. 3:22-28). This brings great blessings and also great responsibilities.
Heaven and Earth
On Friday, June 2nd, 2017 something took place that the world did not notice and many are caught completely unaware of what had happened. Something was organized by Heaven here on earth that day, between those on earth and those in heaven. It was simple, no thrills, the passing of knowledge took place, and declarations were made concerning several things towards this end and the expounding of scriptures. It was personable and familiar.
A Prophet, Priest and King
There has been much debate of late regarding servants, priesthood, temples and the coming forth of a restored set of scriptures. There have even been those pitting the servants of God against the other and comparing them saying, so and so is a greater prophet than the other. These are the musings of those who do not know God, who turn the word of God for naught and who themselves do not keep the commandments.
An Interview
I recently was interviewed by Taylor Johnatakis about my experiences and witness of Christ, the interview resulted initially from my blog post titled: “Living according to your Faith,” where I shared my testimony of Christ, and also a talk (that you can listen to) that I recently gave to a congregation of the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You can listen to the two-part interview by visiting his website from the link below.
The Forgotten
There are many things that are still not known by researchers today regarding the indigenous people of North America, primarily who are or were the principal ancestors of the North American Indians.
