There are save but two churches, the Church of the Lamb of God and the Church of the Devil.
What is the bottomless pit mentioned in the book of revelations, 9th chapter verses 1, 2, and 11?
Wherefore, do the things which I have told you I have seen that your Lord and your Redeemer should do; for, for this cause have they been shown unto me, that ye might know the gate by which ye should enter. For the gate by which ye should enter is repentance and baptism by water, and then cometh a remission of your sins by fire and by the Holy Ghost.
And then are ye in this strait and narrow path which leads to eternal life; yea, ye have entered in by the gate; ye have done according to the commandments of the Father and the Son; and ye have received the Holy Ghost, which witnesses of the Father and the Son, unto the fulfilling of the promise which he hath made, that if ye entered in by the way ye should receive. When we say that “tomorrow I will repent,” or that things will be better tomorrow, we are trying to remove the immediate arousal of discomfort that we are presently experiencing in our lives and shifting it off to another day. Whatever that is for you it is not resolved, if even you temporarily trick yourself into forgetting about it. Tomorrow, I will face my discomfort. However, tomorrow it will return, over and over again, and so also the discomfort until it is resolved. This cycle of discomfort for some may go on for years. Read More
Gods lessons in life are meant to lead you to a high or higher self-efficacy and ultimately back to Him.
Stewardship is an interesting concept and an important responsibility. It is one of the first commandments and revelations that were given to mankind on earth. God said in that day, to Adam and Eve while they were yet in the garden, to “[b]e fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Gen. 1:28)
Oneness does not mean singleness, but rather it implies two or more. The Lord said that “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30). Hence at least two, plural and not singleness of person’s or in this case a single God, but Gods plural who share a oneness, one purpose.
There is only but one family. This thought has played upon my mind again and again.
We believe that family is essential and important to God but do we really know it? The family is so very sacred that He has ordained both men and women in marriage, to share in this together with Him the creation of the family. We yet grasp the full view of what this really means to be a family, let alone His family or the sacrifice involved. It started with Adam, and then it was made possible because of Eve (Gen. 1:28). We have been co-opted by God in the council of Gods into this His great plan (Abr. 3:22-28). This brings great blessings and also great responsibilities.
It’s been a while since I have posted anything, I want first to thank those who responded by e-mail to share why they chose to not partake of the covenant or why they had. I had intended to share publicly with permission their many stories. However, after inquiring about it – it was for me – to see and hear or at least read what others experiences are. I learned that there are some who are actually learning to lean upon the Lord and are seeking Him. Some of which were directed by the Lord to partake of the covenant and some who were directed to not partake. In both circumstances, these obeyed the Lord, and both are right.
“…I, Nephi, beheld the power of the Lamb of God, that it descended upon the saints of the church of the Lamb, and upon the covenant people of the Lord, who were scattered upon all the face of the earth; and they were armed with righteousness and with the power of God in great glory.” (1 Nephi 14:14)
